Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the west in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their moolla.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a long time with only a tiny amount of cash since, to lose, each of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
